Iowa Destinations

CEDAR RAPIDS
Cedar Rapids is a great Midwestern sports town and is home to the Cedar Rapids Roughriders Professional Hockey Club and the Cedar Rapids Kernels Baseball Club, which is an affiliate of the Anaheim Angels. Veterans Memorial Stadium seats 5,300 and fans can witness All-American entertainment in a brand new stadium.

Teams who are willing to make a short drive can also stop at the Lost Island Adventure Park, which is Iowa’s newest and largest water park, featuring a Wave pool, lazy river, tube, body and raft rides. Other possibilities include the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort and the Field of Dreams Movie Site in nearby Dyersville.


IOWA CITY/CORALVILLE
Visitors to Iowa City will experience a welcoming community surrounded by the picturesque rolling hills, forests, lakes, and rivers of Eastern Iowa. Teams can visit the campus of the University of Iowa, which includes the Old Capitol Museum, the legendary Kinnick Stadium and athletic facilities, and the Hawkeye Athletic Hall of Fame.

In addition to the University of Iowa, visiting teams will encounter a vibrant downtown, with one of the largest shopping malls in the state, and one-of-a-kind attractions. Families will enjoy visiting the Coralville Lake and Devonian Fossil Gorge, the Antique Car Museum of Iowa and the Iowa Children’s Museum.
